About MU5IC4GOOD

We're a passionate team of students—musicians, advocates, and changemakers—brought together by the belief that music can do more than entertain. We've seen its power to heal, connect, and transform lives, especially for children with autism. As MU5IC4GOOD, we're using our voices, our instruments, and our time to make the world a little brighter—one note at a time.

Our Story

MU5IC4GOOD was founded in 2025 with a simple yet powerful vision: to harness the universal language of music to create meaningful educational opportunities for children who need them most. Through the healing power of rhythm and melody, we're building bridges, breaking barriers, and giving every child a chance to thrive.

Our Executive Director & Founder, Leo Zhang, and co-founder, Ethan, grew up with a close friend who was on the verge of being diagnosed with autism—struggling to communicate, to connect, and to grow. But then something unexpected happened; he found a piano.

As melodies replaced silence, his close friend began to open up, learn, and thrive. It was then that Leo realized music wasn't just a hobby—it was a powerful tool for healing and connection. MU5IC4GOOD was born from that belief: that music can be more than sound—it can be therapy, support, and hope for children with autism. Using music, we strive to provide a bridge to a brighter future.

Our first concert will be held on August 2, 2025, at the 95th Street Library branch of the Naperville Public Library system. This special event is open to all residents of the City of Naperville. If you wish to contribute, donations will be accepted and will be donated to charity.
